I'm in Winnipeg.

1. I think the last two blog posts would count as false starts.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this one won't be, but I felt that way about the last two as well.

2. I arrived in Winnipeg tuesday, three days ago. My impressions of the city are as follows:

2a) This city is super pretty! Everything is crazy green, and there is lots of fancy old architecture which always makes me smile.

2b) Everything is super sprawly. My house is more or less in the suburbs- and there is no sidewalk in front of my house. I think that everyone drives here- not just in he sense that everyone drives everywhere, but like, everyone drives everywhere.

2c) People really are friendly here. Some friends of friends who i've only ever met once have invited me for dinner on friday.

2d) It's too damn hot. There are too many damn mosquitoes.

2e) There are amazing skateboard parks here! I biked down to the forks to catch a glimpse of this amazing skatepark which, is close to downtown in the middle of the forks. It's really nice to see a skatepark that isn't tucked away from everything. Also, I think I'm going to hit up the fort gary skatepark tomorrow morning before too many kids get on it.

3. My house is pretty great. My room is very small, in part owing to the fact that my new fancy queen size bed, is, well, very large. I promised pictures, but, my phone camera sucks more than i thought it did. Sorry.
